Introducing RELIC 01: LIBERTY — the inaugural piece in a series of singular metal artworks by Charles Lethaby.

Individually machined, engraved and finished in Grade 5 titanium, this piece is strictly 1/1. Once acquired, LIBERTY in titanium will never be produced again.

LIBERTY presents an enduring symbol of independence, distilled into a precise and permanent material form. The image is engraved directly into the titanium rather than applied to its surface, becoming an integral part of the object itself.

The engraved titanium surface creates a restrained interplay of light and shadow. Fine details emerge gradually as the piece is viewed from different angles, revealing new characteristics as the metal responds to its surrounding light.

Sized to the proportions of a traditional baseball card, LIBERTY measures approximately 89 × 64 mm, translating a familiar and collectible format into a permanent material form.
